Bladen County Meeting: 6/27/22 Savanna Walters from Coastal Horizons presented to Resilient Bladen about the Mental Health First Aid. Adult and Youth Mental Health First Aid Courses. 13 participants came together to participate in the meeting. The groups discussed ways to get faith community involved and members shared some names and organizations to reach out to and connect with. True empathy is essential to maintaining relationships. We should teach children how to empathize from a young age, we can also use the personality test for children, to better understand our children but they must be 10 years old or older.
