The Story Exploring program is designed for use with children from birth through age 11 and incorporates more than 100 multicultural children’s books to build reading and critical thinking skills. The program includes targeted reading, writing, listening, and speaking activities to increase comprehension, foster problem solving, and nurture a love for books and reading. Accompanying each Story Exploring lesson is a take-home Story Extender that teachers and caregivers can share with parents.
There are some training etiquette matters we would like to address:
- Cameras must stay on for the duration of the training for credit and certification
- Participants should be in a space to limit outside noise and distractions to be able to actively participate for the three hours
- This training is active! Lack of participation will result in lack of certification
- Log on 5-10 minutes early to ensure audio/visual participation
We are outsourcing & paying for this training. A non-cash incentive of books will be delivered upon successful training completion to implement the Story Exploring program at your site!
Survey components are required for this activity!
If you have already been trained in Story Exploring, there is no need to register!
