WVHS invites you to come join us for a very informative training with April Jones, Community Manager for Resiliency in the Valley, will be leading a free 3 part in person parenting workshop at West Valley High School.

Tuesday's at 5:30pm in Room A161

Week 1: March 15th Adverse Childhood and Community experiences
- What is childhood and community trauma and how does it impact us across our lifespan. Understand the impact of trauma on our mood, behavior, relationships, and parenting. Learn how to increase protective factors to move toward healing.
Week 2: March 22nd Thoughts, Feelings and Actions, Oh My!
- Understand the connections between our thoughts, feelings and actions. Learn strategies to reframe and improve mood by managing our thoughts.
Week 3: March 29th Creating the Validating Environment
- Learn skills to improve communication and build healthy relationships with those we care about the most.

Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
