Re: RESILIENCE: Innate vs Nurtured
Thank you for sharing your story. I share a similar existential process of balancing the "authentic self" and relationships with others. How can we exist alone and how can we exist if we do not know ourselves alone? It's a circular thinking that does not have a clear answer. We can just keep swimming and work towards unwinding patterns that have developed over the years through awareness without judgment first, then shifting into taking a pause to encourage intentionality and choice.

Thanks for this - it is a project that needs to be embraced in pregnancy by providers. My agency provides in-home mental health services and it is always sad when moms wait weeks to get the appropriate referral. That is time that the mother and infant spend struggling to make that important first bond.
