First Annual Greater Philadelphia Trauma Training Conference

Please join us for an important upcoming event: the First Annual Greater Philadelphia Trauma Training Conference, to be held July 19-21, 2017 on Philadelphia University’s beautiful East Falls campus.

Philadelphia University's Community and Trauma Counseling Program, in association with The University of Pennsylvania 's Graduate School of Education, Lakeside Global Institute, the United Way (UWGPSNJ), Children’s Crisis Treatment Center, and Philadelphia's Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual Disability Services, is very excited to launch this critical workforce development initiative. The aim of the conference is to provide to people across child-serving sectors and disciplines foundational trauma training, coupled with interprofessional learning opportunities, to improve health and educational outcomes for children and families.

The target audience for this event includes direct service providers, supervisors, leaders, and trainers in the following disciplines/sectors:
Medicine/health
Mental/Behavioral Health
Child Welfare
Juvenile Justice,
K-12 Education
Young Child (0-5 years old)- including child care providers, early interventionists, pediatricians, etc…
Philanthropy


Student and group rates are available, and continuing education credits, including CME/CNEs, will be granted.
