This is the site from the State of Michigan through which the Greg's Promise Group is doing their work and has their grant to disseminate information on toxic stress to area early childhood educators.  There are several learning modules on the site that you can work through to learn more about toxic stress if you are interested.  I did them all and have certificates for completion.  The Greg's Promise Group is also working through the NCTSN (National Child Traumatic Stress Network) which has many learning modules which include several on foster care.  To access these learning modules you need to sign up for the NCTSN learning center, but it is easy to do.   Here is a link to some of the learning modules on foster care presented by the NCTSN.  If you are interested in completing any of the NCTSN modules but aren't sure how to sign up, just send me a dialog message and I can help you with that.  You can also often get free CEUs of completion.
