Next steps for NorCal ACErs....

Ten people responded to the survey -- thanks everyone!! -- and the verdict is:

  • 30 percent wanted to keep the group as it is until all counties in Northern California have their own groups.
  • 30 percent wanted to keep the group as it is and begin working with members to start groups in their own counties.

....which is sort of the same thing, as I worded it (hindsight is SOOO clear). So, that would make it 60 percent who say we should keep the group for a while longer.

The way the survey results are displayed are kind of cool. Click on the survey headline, and that will take you to the survey. On the top right, click on Show Results, and you'll see how we all voted. To find out what the "Other" ideas were, click on 20%, and you'll see the suggestions that Grace Harris and Jennifer Lynn-Whaley offered.

So, to keep people who live in communities where there aren't groups yet, we can post info from Yolo, Alameda and Sonoma counties, as well as developments from communities that are still in the offline stage (San Francisco, SF Department of Public Health, Los Angeles, Ventura). And we can post info that we just think might be of interest to folks in NorCal.

And we can still have the occasional meetup.

How does that sound?
