Upcoming documentary screening in Jax

Hope Street equips ALL who touch the lives of children with what they need, so they can give children what they need by addressing the effects of early adversity and relational trauma through the Connecting, Empowering, and Correcting Principles of Trust Based Relational Intervention® developed at TCU by Drs. Karyn Purvis and David Cross. TBRI®considers the whole child—brain, biology, behavior, body, and beliefs. Seeing all behavior as communication, TBRI® provides parents, caregivers, teachers and service providers with insight and practical tools to create connection and authentic relationships so children can thrive.
As the lead agency for a citywide child- and family-serving project called Hope & Healing JAX which is focused on bringing together those already working in Jacksonville to address Positive & Adverse Childhood Experiences (PACEs) and trauma to promote healing and build resilience, they are hosting a community event around teen mental health.
Please join us for screening of the Hiding In Plain Sight:Teen Mental Health on Thursday, September 22, 2022 @ 6:00-8:30PM at WJCT Studios. A Hope & Healing Meet & Greet with Appetizers will begin the evening, followed by screening clips and a local expert panel discussion, concluding with Q&A.
Space is limited so please register today and share this out with family, friends and colleagues as we raise awareness around wellbeing and what every child and adolescent needs to thrive—and the part we can each play.
Every child is precious. Every child should feel precious, loved, and safe. You play a part.
