7 Practices to ACEs Self Care- Building Resilency

 

Resilience is defined as the capacity, processes, or outcome of successful adaptation to adversity. It does not eliminate the trauma- resilience is learned and helps us to get through trauma, to mitigate and reduce the impact of ACSs. So, Just as physical wounds heal, we can recover function in the under-connected areas of the brain. Our mental and physical health are not seperate!

This is the science of plasticity; that the brain is plastic or changeable. Resilience and neuro-plasticity gives us the hope for healing ACEs and trauma and here are 7 steps.
