COLLABORATING TO PROMOTE COMMUNITY RESILIENCE

This is an opportunity to learn about and discuss the extensive work being done to promote community resilience in Shasta County.

Presenter: Shasta County Family Strengthening Collaborative

  • Wendy Dickens, E.D. First 5 Shasta
  • Susan Wilson, E.D. Youth Violence Prevention Council
  • Jackie Scott, HUB Technical and Training Manager

Resiliency has emerged as a theme in our Learning Community. We are learning about how various collaborations are mobilizing to mitigate ACEs and other trauma exposure through partnerships that focus on resiliency. We will also take a first glance at CRM (Community Resiliency Model) being implemented in Mendocino Co.

We look forward to hearing about the work other counties are doing and to consider opportunities to create synergy among these efforts for increased impact across our region. Your participation is invaluable
