This weekend brought 25+ people together in Tulsa to further the discussion around competencies and curriculum development to advance the concept of Trauma-Informed Health Care. Thank you, David! I very much agree with you. In fact, that is what I was going to promote as the next step. We need to form a competencies working group and it makes sense to me to review what already exists. I had hoped that the group would review the AVA document prior to the meeting and some did. I believe the focus required for going through details of competencies will need to happen within the context of multiple sessions, online and in person, will time for reflection in between. I...
