"Be kind to yourself"

This is an excellent article that provides tips in how to take the necessary steps to practice self-care and most importantly to "be kind to yourself." This article is particularly geared to the individuals who find it difficult to relax (ouch!). During this time of COVID-19, it can't be overstated enough- we need to take time to relax and breathe. What do you do to relax and take care of yourself?

Great article Danny. My morning relaxation ritual includes 20 minutes of meditation, followed by journaling, and some exercise. In the afternoon, I'll meditate again and before I go to sleep a quick journal recap of what I'm grateful for and how I lived Aloha.

Great article. I have relaxation rituals that include folding laundry and organizing while listening to Lionel Ritchie on Pandora. My visual space with nostalgic tunes allow me to relax. I enjoy doing puzzles - and itʻs always a treat when I can sit and do one. Hugging and snuggling with the kids and Darryl is a daily must - we make it a point to take several deep breaths together before we "let go". Watering my plants, watching them grow and survive my bouts of neglect is also a way I step away from work for a few minutes and connect.  I take Copaiba supplements and lately have cut all caffeine out - replacing it with ginger tea and honey. And almost every night, I lie in bed and for a few minutes I watch Liziqi on youtube.
