Join the Resilient Georgia Conversation on Social Media

Resilient Georgia is dedicated to healing adversity and promoting resiliency in children and families. We do this through the prevention and early intervention of ACEs and by sharing best practices with our 500+ stakeholders and 80+ partners. As we wrap up Mental Health Awareness Month, we’d like to invite you to join the Resilient Georgia conversation on social media. Our Facebook and Instagram accounts are filled with ongoing content on children’s mental health at the intersection of COVID-19, racial equity, and more. Thank you for your continued partnership and support, and for continuing to share helpful resources and training with us to disseminate as we all work collectively towards a more resilient and trauma-informed Georgia!

These are the three pillars of our work at Resilient Georgia: (1) to convene and connect, (2) to share innovation, and (3) to remove barriers. These pillars have been integral to our success and will continue to drive our goal of aligning public and private efforts and resources across the state to support resiliency for all people between the ages of 0 and 26, as well as their families. One way that we connect and share innovation is through our social media presence. Our Facebook and Instagram posts continually highlight partner best practices, research, training, resources and thought leadership. We all have a role to play in providing better futures for children. Join the Resilient Georgia conversation on Facebook and Instagram to stay up to date on trauma-informed care resources and events, and together, we will continue to strive for a future where every child in Georgia grows up to become a resilient adult thanks to a culture of prevention and widespread knowledge of trauma-informed care. We look forward to being your friend!

The post also includes a delightful compilation of our favorite 0-to-5-year-old children’s books to read with your little ones! Read more >

We shared upcoming opportunities for an online introductory Community Resiliency Model training (CRM) provided by our partners in Athens, Georgia. This free training uses a skills-based approach that helps create “trauma-informed” and “resiliency-informed” individuals and communities. The free introductory training session is open to anyone!
