Hello Everyone, my name is Michelle and I have just recently discovered the PACESConnection website, as well as the different communities and interests that are available.  I am so glad to be here and to have found a community that shares my passion and is close to home.   I have desperately been trying to get this profound concept into the community where I am working... which is the City of St. Louis.  I'm a Juvenile Probation Officer and Truancy Officer.  I have spent a ton of time and efforts in reaching out to different organizations/agencies/community supports, such as the St. Louis Public School System-The Board of Education and Superintendent, as well as The St. Louis Violence Prevention Committee, The St. Louis School Wide- Positive Behavior Support team (SW-PBS), the Why Try Org, and other local communities in my area.  All I ever keep hearing is they are working on things, they are implementing a plan, they are waiting for funds...but I have never seen any meaningful action, as of yet. So I'm eager to hear about the progress this community may have made or has planned, regarding your supportive actions and collaborations.  I would love to help anyway I can and even thinking of starting my own Initiative here in St. Louis City!!

Thank you so much!
