The Mockingbird Society advocates for the wellbeing of children in foster care through their mission toimprove foster care and end youth homelessness. http://www.mockingbirdsociety.org/ 

The National CASA Association is a network of volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocates for children involved in the child welfare system. With nearly 1000 local CASA affiliates across the country, this network of volunteers are advocating for the safety, permanency and wellbeing of children in foster care. http://www.casaforchildren.org...CASA_Association.htm

Children’s Rights is a national legal advocacy organization working to ensure state and local child welfare systems are held accountable for meeting the safety and wellbeing needs of the children served in foster care. Often times, this advocacy results in legal action against child welfare systems to increase accountability and most importantly, ensure the rights of children are legally protected. www.childrensrights.org.  

Casey Family Programs is the nation’s largest operating foundation focused entirely on foster care and improving the child welfare system. They provide nonpartisan research and technical expertise to child welfare system leaders, members of Congress and state legislators so that they can craft laws and policies to better the lives of children in foster care, children at risk of entering the system, and their families. Since their founding in 1966, Casey Family Programs has invested more than $1.6 billion in programs and services to benefit children and families in the child welfare system. www.casey.org

The Child Welfare League of America (CWLA) is a network of partner agencies, both public and private, serving children involved in child welfare systems. CWLA supports the use of best practice and strategies resulting in better outcomes for children and youth served in foster care. www.cwla.org

The Children's Defense Fund is a national organization working for children and youth at federal, state, and community levels to improve the lives of children, prevent child abuse and neglect, and raise children out of poverty. www.childrensdefense.org

Foster Care Alumni of America is a national organization founded by alumni of the foster care system. Their mission is to connect foster care alumni and advocate for changes in policy and practice. www.fostercarealumni.org
