Collectively, we recognize the health implications that grief, loss, political unrest, and racial trauma have on the human body. We are convinced that in our families, communities, and ancestors, we can find hope and connection which are powerful antibodies to stress and trauma. This intimate virtual gathering will explore the intergenerational impact of structural racism and promote ways that together, we can collectively envision healing.

This two-day virtual gathering will provide an opportunity to critically examine our mental health system, explore ways to reduce the stigma of receiving services, and how creativity and connection play a role in recovery. Healing the Generations offers caregivers, family members and professionals from mental health organizations, state and local community agencies, faith-based community, schools, universities and colleges the opportunity to hear from the nation’s leading change-makers, network, and share knowledge and resources.
