Path to a Just Society: Our new infographic shares common language and an aspirational path.
Our version of a “Path to a Just Society” is our first attempt at creating a common language and identifying points along the path to a just society. The Race and Equity workgroup of PACEs Connection started the project in early 2021, following a staff meeting where we realized that we, our organization and the movement needed this. We think it can help all of us gauge where we are, where we want to be, and what’s needed to get to the next level of integrating practices and policies based on...

While theoretical knowledge is helpful, and ACEs science is amazing and interesting in its own right, trauma-informed/trauma-sensitive ministry must actually APPLY that knowledge in order to help anyone. First of its kind! A Trauma-Informed Daily Devotional book by Rev. Dr. Chris Haughee
This book is the result of my passion for uniting the insights gained from trauma-informed ministry and God's Word. I have dedicated the last decade of my ministry to better understanding the effect of traumatic experiences—especially those that happen in childhood—on human spirituality, resilience, and our capacity to hope. I believe it has made me a better minister of the gospel and a better follower of Jesus Christ. It has certainly opened up my heart and mind to a greater appreciation of...

1988 U.S. Congressional Resolution #331 acknowledges the role of the Iroquois constitution in the development of our U.S. Constitution. The Iroquois constitution reportedly called for 'Generational Review'- I question whether they 'knew' about 'Trans-Generational Trauma' or conceptualized it differently. They reportedly availed Women the Rights to: Assert, Debate, VOTE, and Declare War beginning between 1095 and 1150 A.D. ..... They certainly used 'Villages' to raise children. I've yet to...
