This is a preventative approach to helping families. Be Strong Families They have Parent Cafés - and training for leaders along with materials. One of their national partners is the Center for the Study of Social Policy, which developed the Strengthening Families program. Beginning in 2014 there was a 3-year Strengthening Families in NC project, in partnership with the North Carolina Department of Social Services. I couldn't find anything more on the website of NCDSS.
