Join SPP-TAP as we welcome Dr. Rosemarie Allen for the upcoming webinar, Using Culturally Responsive Practices to Ensure Equity for All Childrenfocusing on learning environments that are culturally affirming for students in preschool through early elementary grades.

Proposed Audience:

SPP-TAP invites school and central office personnel to this webinar. While her primary area of focus is on early learning, Dr. Allen's insights are invaluable for educators at all levels of the learning continuum.  


Presenter: Dr. Rosemarie Allen

Dr. Rosemarie Allen has served as a leader in early childhood education for more than 35 years. Her life's work centers on ensuring all students have access to developmentally and culturally appropriate instructional programming.

Dr. Allen has been the Director of Colorado's Department of Human Services, Early Childhood Division and is a contractor for the National Center for Pyramid Model Innovations, focusing on equity and culturally responsive practices in the model. She is currently an Associate Professor in the School of Education at Metropolitan State University of Denver.  Dr. Allen is also the founder of the non-profit Institute for Racial Equity and Excellence (IREE) and is widely known as the nation's expert on creating positive, equitable learning environments for young children.
