Statewide Opportunity: Advancing Trauma-Informed Care for CW Systems in California

Advancing California’s Trauma Informed Systems (ACTS) project supports child welfare counties in finding their own unique path to advancing trauma-informed care (TIC) in a way that is collaborative and evidence-informed. ACTS is based out of the Chadwick Center at Rady Children’s Hospital San Diego and supported by California Department of Social Services Office of Child Abuse and Prevention (OCAP). ACTS believes supporting child welfare organizations invested in TIC will create a stronger and more unified voice for trauma-informed change in our state.

The ACTS Project is currently looking to partner with child welfare systems who are interested in advancing TIC. Please see the attached flyer to learn more about the ACTS project and what a partnership with ACTS would look like. At their website you can also find an informational video about the ACTS project, an in-depth collection of resources to support trauma-informed care, and tools developed by past ACTS county partners.
