November 18, 2021: Child Wellbeing During the Pandemic Webinar Recording and Presentation Slides

The Essentials for Childhood Initiative is pleased to share the “Child Wellbeing During the Pandemic Webinar” Presentation Slides and recording that supported the event that took place on November 18, 2021.  The purpose of this webinar was to increase understanding of child well-being during the pandemic, share where to access the “Family Experiences During COVID-19 Questionnaire” data, and support participants to learn about a school-based approach to address child health and well-being concerns.  Dr. Lori Turk-Bicakci, Senior Program Director from KidsData at PRB shared findings from waves 1-3 of the Family Experiences During COVID-19 Pandemic Questionnaire, provided an overview of the questionnaire, and showed where to access data. Tracy Mendez, Executive Director of the California School-Based Health Alliance, shared about the impact of the pandemic on young people from the perspective of school-based health centers (SBHCs), how SBHCs can help address these concerns, and where opportunities exist to improve and expand school health services. Thank you to both Dr. Turk-Bicakci and Tracy Mendez for their wonderful presentations.
