A recording and materials are now available for the second in a series of webinars exploring the science of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and toxic stress, presented by Rachel Gilgoff, Clinical and Science Senior Advisor, Aurrera Health Group.

Clinicians seeking CME/CE and MOC credits* must complete a separate activity evaluation in order to request CME/CE certificate. Those seeking MOC credits must also successfully complete the post-test with a score of 75% and higher. Please follow CME/MOC instructions available on ACEsAware.org.

The webinar covers:

  • How to develop a clinical response to ACEs and toxic stress.
  • The science behind each of the evidence-based strategies for toxic stress regulation.
  • Examples of clinical interventions for stress-mitigation strategies.
  • Examples of internal and external support services for stress-mitigation strategies.

Don’t forget, health care providers must take the online training and fill out an attestation form in order to receive Medi-Cal payment for ACE screenings.
