State of CAre Toolkit

We recently launched the ACEs Aware “State of CAre” health care provider engagement campaign to expand the reach and impact of the ACEs Aware initiative beyond our dedicated group of supporters and “early adopters” of screening.
During the month of July, please download our toolkit and post it to your Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or LinkedIn accounts. Draft captions can be customized to reflect your organization’s priorities or voice, and corresponding graphics are linked.
The core component of the State of CAre campaign is to drive clinical teams to the free, two-hour Becoming ACEs Aware online training and certification that teaches providers about the health impacts of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), how to screen patients for ACEs, and strategies for responding to the symptoms of toxic stress. We need your help informing providers across California about this free training and enhancing the public’s understanding of the benefits of addressing toxic stress.
Thank you for your partnership!

Visit the blog for key takeaways from part one of the series, including how social drivers like neighborhood segregation, income inequality, and policing contribute to ACEs, and specific steps providers can take to engage and advocate solutions to effectively support patients who are at greater risk of ACEs.
