ARBEST Webinar: Childhood Adversity, Resiliency and the Brain
Dr. Andrew James, Ph.D. of the Brain Imaging Research Center at UAMS, will review the factors of resiliency, how childhood trauma can change development, and how the brain protects itself against trauma-related psychiatric illness.

Report Explores Case Studies of Communities Addressing ACEs
Community Voices: Creating a Just, Health and Resilient World (attached) is a report produced by Mobilizing Action for Resilient Communities (MARC), a learning collaborative of 14 sites across the country that use ACEs and resiliency as their organizing framework. The report provides case studies of interventions from each MARC site. Project include creating trauma-informed hospitals, supporting fathers, and a collaboration between a police department and a child treatment center.
