What field are you working in, and how do you see your work connecting with ACEs?

I'll start it off:

I'm a graduate student in psychology at UCSC, but the "field" I see my work most aligned with is criminal justice. I study what is usually referred to as "psych and law," which is basically using psychology to better understand the law. I study risk factors for crime (both in children and adults) and a lot of these overlap with ACEs. So for example, one of the questions I'm looking at now is-- did capital defendants experience more abuse as children when compared with the general population?
