We all have a role to play in making sure children have the opportunity to thrive. We all want children to be safe and healthy. However, the heartbreaking reality is that every year thousands of children are victims of child abuse and neglect. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reports that β€œat least 1 in 7 children have experienced child abuse and/or neglect in the past year, and this is likely an underestimate.”
