Betancourt, Director, Research Program on Children and Adversity (RPCA), and Jenna Berent, Program Manager, for the Refugee Behavioral Health Program at the Boston College Research Program on Children and Adversity. Dr. Betancourt and the Boston College Research Program on Children and Adversity have developed the Family Strengthening Intervention (FSI) a strengths-based, home visiting intervention adapted for implementation in both Rwanda and with Refugee communities in New England. They will share the specific innovations each program has undergone as well as lessons learned and plans for future projects.
