PACEs in Early Childhood

Applications Being Accepted Nationally for the Training of Trainer Institute for Authorization (ToT-IA)

Are you an early childhood provider and you would like to become authorized to train in your community on Trauma Informed Practices and Trauma-Responsive and Resilience Building Strategies? We are now opening for the first time nationally (US and surrounding regions) to apply for our Training of Training Institute for Authorization (ToT-IA). All activities through the Center for Optimal Brain Integration® will be provided virtually.  To apply you must have been working in the early childhood field for 5 years and feel comfortable training in front of large groups with a sensitive topic. For details about the Training of Trainer Institute for Authorization follow this link: https://shoutout.wix.com/so/7b...languageTag=en#/main

Become Authorized in a 6-Hour Training Module: Trauma-Responsive Practices for Early Childhood Providers provides an overview on the neurobiology of trauma, the impact of toxic stress on a child and adult and introduces the science of resilience and neuroplasticity. Participants will walk away understanding the difference between a challenging behavior and trauma trigger. The training will guide early child educators and providers and early educators working with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and early elementary aged children to understand trauma as well as its impact on young children’s brains, behavior, learning, and development. The training introduces a range of trauma-responsive and resilience building teaching strategies they can use in their early childhood programs to create strength-based environments that support children’s health, healing, and resiliency.
