Safety, Health, and Back-to-School Plans in a Pandemic with School Nurse, Robin Cogan: A Better Normal Discussion on August 4th, 12 p.m. PST (3p.m. EST)

Parents and students are living with a lot of uncertainty about what schooling for our kids will look like come fall. Many of us do not yet know if our schools will open full-time, part-time, or via a hybrid model. We don't know if schools will stay open should a second COVID-19 wave hit, or what our plans and options are for our kids regardless of what our school, district, or state decides.

Families are under considerable stress  at work and at home and continue to live with continual uncertainty.  Depending on the age/s of our child/ren, we may also have questions about daycare, childcare, access to food and technology, as well as concerns about balancing our own work, health, bills, and home life responsibilities.

Please join our special guest, school nurse, writer, blogger, and public speaker, Robin Cogan, MEd, RN, NCSN for a discussion about the pandemic as it relates to safety, health, and back-to-school (or not) plans. This conversation is geared towards parents and families.

This conversation is a part of our A Better Normal series. It will be hosted by Parenting with ACEs Community Manager, @Christine Cissy White, (me), and facilitated by @Alison Cebulla, the Northeast Region Community Facilitator. We are thrilled Robin Cogan has made time to be with us. Our forum will allow  parents, families, and attendees to share questions, concerns, and resources.
