Job Opportunity

I’m pleased to share the Burke Foundation’s Board of Trustees approved a five-year strategy to help grow and sustain a more diverse birthing workforce, including community-based doulas, midwives, and nurses for universal newborn home visiting. We believe growing the perinatal workforce is a critical approach to addressing the alarming racial disparities in maternal and infant health outcomes in New Jersey and across the country.

We are currently hiring for a Program Officer to skillfully manage a new portfolio of workforce initiatives, working as part of our highly collaborative team in Princeton and Trenton, New Jersey.

You can see the full job description at https://burkefoundation.org/wp-content/uploads/careers/2022-02-09_Burke-Foundation-Program-Officer.pdf. We are looking for candidates with experience in workforce development, program management, research, policy, or grantmaking roles related to public health, maternal and infant health, or public policy.
