Parents Engaging Parents (PEP) invites you to join us on March 24th, 25th, 26th 2021 It Takes A Village" Beloved Virtual Parent & Community Leaders Celebrate the Female Nucleus. We will be hosting a three-day engagement discussing topics surrounding Education, Mental Health, Social Justice, and Economics. These topics are centralized around Parents Engaging Parents’ mission and vision, in promoting civic awareness and proactive community advocacy based on the interests of parents and guardians.
PEP has held weekly virtual engagements over this fall and winter, working with community partners. Those partners worked with us in civic, private, and public sectors by actively supporting communities across NJ during this crisis, providing a safe and accessible venue to build community relationships. Our weekly engagements have served as “Mental Health Check-Ins”; in which PEP Parent Champions have discussed how the crisis has impacted their household and communities. PEP Parent Champions have also promoted self-wellness, and shared strategies on how to better support their children, families, and community during these times.
Our goal during this three-day engagement is an extension of Education, Mental Health, Social Justice, and Economics related initiatives. It would be a tremendous pleasure to partner with you on this collective mission to share resources and involve our New Jersey communities in obtaining information to better navigate through these difficult times.
