17th Annual CAPC CLM Conference

SAVE THE DATE!

Every year, Tulare County CAPC holds a conference focused on an area of child abuse prevention, presented by experts in the content area.

The conference is open to anyone who wants to get a more in-depth education on the topic, as well as tools to respond.

The conference is named after Cynthia Lockhart Mummery, LMFT, a long-time clinical director at Tulare Youth Service Bureau and CAPC member who was an advocate for abused and neglected children for 18 years. Cynthia was the heart of the Tulare Youth Bureau until her death in 2002. A member of the Tulare County Child Abuse Prevention Council, she was instrumental in bringing quality child sexual abuse treatment to Tulare County in the 1980s.

This year's focus will be on system lessons learned from the pandemic that affected our children, families and communities. Nationally known experts will be featured as well as local professionals in our field. Registration information will be available soon!
