Stress Busters Handout

We all have inner strengths and resilience that can help us deal with challenges and stress. To help us manage stress, PACEs Connection and ACEs Aware created a handout based on seven evidence-based stress busters, as described in the Roadmap for Resilience: The California Surgeon General’s Report on Adverse Childhood Experiences, Toxic Stress, and Health. These interventions can help reduce stress, improve health, and build resilience.

Please share widely! The handout is available in the following languages:

The California Virtual Training Academy (VTA) provided support in the creation and translation of this handout. This resource was reviewed by the California Collaborative ACEs Learning and Quality Improvement Collaborative (CALQIC) Patient Community Advisory Board. CALQIC also supported translation of the document.

@Tiffany Dancer Thank you so much for your interest in sharing the Stress Busters handout with your community! You are welcome to tailor the resources section (in the bottom right hand corner of the second page) to resources that are available in your local community. However, we ask that you do not change any of the other content and that you leave the two logos (PACEs Connection and ACEs Aware) in the document. You are welcome to add your own logo as well. Please let me know if you have any questions, and thank you for helping people learn how to manage stress!

@Tiffany Dancer Thank you so much for your question! We're thrilled that you like the infographic. I'm consulting with colleagues about your question and will get back to you as soon as I know more.

I would love to share this information but I am out of state so the resources for more support would not work for our population here. Can we change those to our local resources? If not, I will just let people know those are not available to them.

This was great; thank you for sharing it.  I shared it onto Blameless' FB page because the families alone of our incarcerated are losing it and need help, not to mention many of our neighbors and communities.

Blessings, Tammy
