We’re beyond excited to see the PACEs Connection community back in action! A huge shout out to @Dana Brown (PACEs Connection Staff) and @Carey Sipp for all the hard work they’ve put into making this happen. It’s inspiring to witness the ongoing collaboration in this space and to see how many of us are committed to building cultures of resilience.
For @Andi Fetzner and me, this community has been incredibly meaningful. Our journey together started back in 2016, when we met in the registration line at the ACEs Conference. (If you're curious about that story, check out our blog post here.) Since that moment, we've been working side by side to help organizations and communities build resilience and connection, one step at a time.
We hope to continue to connect with new and familiar friends on PACEs Connection. We say often but never enough that being trauma-informed is a team sport. You know this better than most! Over the years we have partnered with organizations like Echo Training, The West Virginia Department of Human Services, the Community Clinic Association of LA County, and the Arizona ACEs Consortium to name a few. We’ve participated in initiatives to support those working across sectors in healthcare, schools, non-profits, government and more. In almost 10 years of this work, we have learned a lot and we want to continue to grow and learn from all of you. So let’s connect, reconnect and create. Let’s find ways to support one another as we move into this next phase of PACEs Connection.
To get us started, we wanted to share a little bit about one of the things we have been working on this past year that we are really excited to share because we think it is going to be a useful addition to the community. We hope you think so, too.
We have just released an On-Demand version of our foundational training–The Basics On-Demand, which helps establish a shared language around trauma-informed principles and practices to support a resilient culture. This training is designed to be your blueprint for transforming how we understand and relate to stress, while improving how we communicate with each other using a trauma-informed approach. This training can be used for onboarding new staff or support ongoing staff development and wellness and can be accessed anytime, anywhere! (And we are offering the course for 30% off until November 26th)
We invite you to reach out to us to explore how we might widen and deepen this work together. We would love to hear from others in the PACEs Connection Community about what you have been working on. Share in the comments or drop us a line at info@originstraining.org!
