Quick Focus Group on ACEs & Successful 60+ Year Olds

Greetings!

Are you over 60 and successful despite your Adverse Childhood Experiences? Are you realizing that it’s truly now or never for your Soul’s original desire? Do you want to secure your Soul’s full incarnation before you leave this Earth? Are there family relationships you’d like to mend?

Are you in a kind of holding pattern between what is and what could be most satisfying for you at this new stage of life - continuing routines, but just not as deeply engaged as you once were?

How would you like to feel the enthusiasm of your youth again, but  without its ignorance? How would you like to dance with the Universe in your sacred undertaking - vibrantly alive and joyful?

How would you like stronger family connections, or to be connected to a tribe of similarly focused others in this important period in our lives?

Well, I’m building something for us and need a focus group to get a better sense of what we need. This focus group is happening on this Tuesday, May 16, 2023 07:00 PM Eastern Time.

The link is posted below. I sure would appreciate it if you would come and talk with me about this for just a short while. Thank you so much for considering!!!

Thank you, Myra, for asking me about this!

Mid June works well. Early evenings are best.

I’ll watch for your post about it. Once posted, please send it to me at csipp@pacesconnection.com.

Peace!

Carey

Oh my goodness. I'm sorry this happened as we would have loved for you to have been there. It was a small group, but the very best discussion. I learned so much from them.

I would love to schedule another discussion and have people register. My schedule is tight for the next month, but how would mid-June look like for you?

Thanks so much, and looking forward! Myra

Myra - I did plan to attend and even though I was out and about I tried like heck to log into the zoom room and could not get in!

My Zoom account — and those of a couple of other people with whom I met Monday — was a little temperamental. But I had updated it on my phone, which was how I was logging in. Was going to listen in in the car — sometimes such a haven of peace when parked in the shade in front of something lovely — and join you. But despite five tries I couldn’t get in.

Did you hear that from anyone else?

I hope you do this again.  I did share this blog with several communities: “Elders”;  “Trauma Informed Healthcare Educators and Researchers”, a couple of recovery communities, our parenting community, “Social Science”; “Foster Care”, “Indigenous Peoples and Nations” to name a few of the dozen + communities with which I shared it. I hope they got in easily!

Let me know if you decide to do it again? Perhaps have people register for the event and that will help ensure that people have the link, it’s on their calendar? Not saying that would have made a difference or that you didn’t do everything possible to make it work. I am sure you did!

Just know that Zoom kept sending me back to the app and asking me to redownload the “new Zoom” and that I would try that, and then there was a request of a meeting code and password, and then all of Zoom would glitch out.

I hope that’s because you had a lot of attendees!

Peace,

Carey

Carey,

Thank you so much! Your support and your interest in this topic means so much to me.  I very much look forward to talking with you on Tuesday evening!  And I love your sentiments on mothering - we are kindred spirits indeed.

Love, Myra

Hello Myra -

I hope to attend your webinar focus group. This topic is very dear to me.

Also - I will “clone” your post to our special interest communities where appropriate. Our “Elders” and our “Parenting with PACEs” groups, as well as a couple of others, make sense.

Yours is a fascinating topic. I believe we can heal generations backward and forward with what we are doing in our lives today.

Thank you for your membership at PACEs Connection, and your work. Too, your photo is absolutely stunning!

Peace and Happy Mother’s Day. It is appropriate that you posted this on Mother’s Day weekend. Whether we have children ourselves or not, we all need to mother ourselves, all children we see (if only by sending love to them) and this beautiful planet. To “mother” is a verb and mothering across time and generations, cultures, species, geographic boundaries, and limiting beliefs is a needed and worthy endeavor right this moment!

❤️🦋❤️
