The movement to disrupt and divert education by government edicts and angry parents is both painful and sad. It is not difficult to appreciate all the talk about preserving values, freedom, parental rights, and balanced education is a huge diversion from open access to the education our children need to be caring people and the excellent citizens and workers of the future. The topics chosen for suppression clearly demonstrate that the underlying concern is racist, anti-humanist, religiously dogmatic and also demonstrate a powerful urge to exclude some Americans from our public square. This must be opposed and resisted at all times.
